The BCUMC Preschool is an integral part of the Christian Education program of the Baldwin Community United Methodist Church.  The program provides opportunities for children to develop spiritual growth in a loving and nurturing Christian environment.  Our program has served the South Hills Community faithfully since 1952, providing an excellent “first school experience”.  Currently there are 200+ children enrolled in our program.  Our staff of eight teachers and seven assistant teachers provides an atmosphere of love and understanding, which will enable each child to grow in confidence, ability and trust.

2008-2009 REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

 

v Registration for the 2008-2009 school year will take place by MAIL ONLY and must be accompanied by a $35.00 non-refundable fee not applicable to tuition.  A maximum of $50.00 per family.

 

v Registration forms for children and their siblings currently enrolled in BCUMC and Church member’s children must be postmarked and mailed to the preschool office ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2008.  (No early postmarks will be accepted)

 

v Registration forms for children in the community must be mailed on Thursday, February 14, 2008.  No early postmarks will be accepted.

 

v NO hand-delivered forms or emails, fax or priority mail will be accepted.

 

v You will receive a class confirmation card only if you do not receive your first choice, approximately 4 weeks after registration has been completed.  Please do not call the school regarding your child’s placement.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BCUMC PRESCHOOL POLICIES CAREFULLY

 

1.       I agree to pay my child’s tuition in one, two or nine installments on designated dates.  FIRST INSTALLMENT MUST BE PAID ON OR BEFORE May 15, 2008 to retain a space in class.  If payment is NOT received by May 15, 2008, and we are not contacted regarding payment, your child’s space will be automatically relinquished.  FIRST tuition payment will be refunded only for out of state family relocation.

 

2.       I will submit an age-appropriate health form for my child, completed by a physician, no later than 60 days following enrollment.

 

3.       I give permission for BCUMC Preschool to contact my pediatrician/police/paramedics in the event of an emergency.

 

4.       I release the school from all liabilities from damages or injuries occurring at BCUMC Preschool

 

5.       I give______/do not give____permission to distribute my address/phone number on a class roster

 

6.       I give______/do not give____permission for authorized BCUMC personnel to take group/individual pictures/videotapes of my child, to be used for BCUMC education programs/public relations.
